Learn the language of gluten-free…

I’ve been creating gluten-free recipes since 2007 and I must say, they have gotten much better in recent years!

Gluten-free cooking and baking is like learning a new language. This may not be duo lingo but I promise you can learn!

I love to eat good tasting food but don’t want to be in the kitchen all day. My recipes are simple and easy to follow. Part of that comes from how the recipes are written and part comes from efficiency. Let me teach you how to cook with less effort.
My first cookbook, The Warm Kitchen, has over 150 gluten-free recipes but it also has a lot of “how to’s” like how to cut veggies for soup, how to thicken sauces, and how to change flavors easily (same technique + different ingredients = new dish!). Buy the Kindle version here.

Chef Amy Fothergill has over 40 years of cooking experience. She has learned the language of gluten-free and wants to teach you.

Chef Amy writes recipes in a way to make it easy to replicate with clear instructions and common ingredients.

The biggest compliment one can get is when someone says “I can’t even tell this is gluten-free!” Make your life easy by creating dishes everyone will love.
Here are some amazon.com reviews for The Warm Kitchen.

Great Celiac Friendly Cookbook
“I’ve been following Chef Amy, a local Bay Area chef, on Facebook and was thrilled when she came out with her cookbook. We just made a batch of Bolognese and lasagna. So yummy! After being diagnosed earlier this year, it’s been a mission of mine to find GF recipes that taste really good. My whole family ate the lasagna and couldn’t tell it was GF lasagna noodles. Can’t wait to use the rest of the sauce for my next dinner! I look forward to trying more recipes.”

Best, easy gluten free recipes!
“I love this book because it is more then a book of recipes. The author recommends a mix of gluten free flour to keep on hand that makes it easier to make foods! The book is filled with multiple pictures and chef tips for the recipes! Prior to this I couldn’t get the correct consistency of my gluten free baked foods, sauces, and stews. The book is also extensive with every meal covered including pizza, breads, muffins, waffles, pot pies and just about everything.”

Wonderful gluten-free recipes!
“The Warm Kitchen has become one of my very favorite cookbooks! It’s beautifully produced with great photos, clear instructions, and helpful background information. Most importantly, every recipe I’ve tried has been terrific! The yeast and quick bread results have been exceptional (which is so exciting for those of us who have been on the gluten-free journey for a long time). Each success spurs me on to try more. The Warm Kitchen has given me delicious gluten-free options to serve my family. Highly recommended!”

GREAT GF COOKBOOK – not just for those that are GF! YUMMY!
“every recipe is great – you wouldn’t even think about the fact that its GF when you eat it – more like stand alone recipes than replacements for wheat flour – I highly suggest the cookbook to anyone even considering going GF and have actually given it to 4 of my friends. good quality book, has withstood a few drops to the floor mid cooking. Each recipe I’ve made has been delicious.”

“Being gluten intolerant is hard when you love to entertain. The recipes in The Warm Kitchen are easy to follow and the results are truly marvelous. I quit telling my friends that I am cooking gluten free and they don’t notice anymore. This Book has delicious recipes that everyone will love.”

By far my favorite gluten free cookbook
“I absolutely love this cookbook. It has some wonderful recipes and I don’t feel as if I’m missing out on anything. Still having trouble with yeast bread, but good attempts.
